Joan Wilder Art: Adam Luke

Adam Luke requested Errol Flynn's version of Robin Hood.  Here's the portrait. The enjoyable bit about Adam's portrait is the distortion from the lenses of his eye glasses.

Finding a reference to Errol Flynn's The Adventures of Robin Hood was easy enough. That's a technicolor masterpiece, bee tee dubs.

I changed Robin's cap from brown to green (as in Little John's) as I thought the brown cap looked odd.

The background was inspired by "The Forest Clearing," an oil painting by 19th century Russian landscape painter Ivan Shiskin.

This page is oddly lacking in jokes.
